Who's Training with Build Fitness?

All Sizes

Build Fitness understands that our bodies can often be a huge source of embarssment for us. Clients will at times come in and say, "I'm not sure how I let myself get this way", or "Stress has just ruined me".

The number one rule at Build is to find the positives that your body provides for you. The rest is simply what becomes our project. Each session, we work toward improving the physical body AND the client's view of themself. This is hugely important. Some of the ladies I've known thought that stomach stapling surgery would help them turn their life around, but found that although it changed the physical, they didn't have any more confidence in their abilities.

Build Fitness currently trains clients who are very large and looking to safely lose weight, clients who don't have concerns about their weight, but need to build bone mass, and clients who feel 'scrawny' after a stressful life event or surgery. Everyone has a unique wishlist when it comes to our body & its abilities. Come in today and we'll design a plan that will put you on the right track.

All Abilities

It is common for a person to skip doing an exercise at the local health club because they may not do it right, or they may not be able to complete it at all. The feeling that everyone is watching you can be very de-motivating! Being surrounded by mirrors doesn't help either.

Build Fitness has created a space that is not intimidating, but still very functional. The only one watching you is the trainer, and that helps you ensure your safety. For clients who are just starting out, the step by step approach will educate them as they progress. For those who have a bit more experience, the unique exercises will be a welcome change from most gym workouts they've had in the past.

All Ages

People of all ages have trained at Build Fitness. Family Sessions bring in children who often enjoy imitating the movements their parents are doing. The average age range is 40-60, with one of our favorite 83 year old ladies still going strong! You are never too old to improve your health.

Everyone is accepted

Build Fitness was started with a vision of acceptance. Marisa has experience training clients from all different backgrounds, walks of life, sexual orientations, and disabilities. She believes that she can learn as much from the client as they learn from her. Everyone is welcome to Build Fitness Studio, where the only concern is your health!
